Stacee: Well, first of all, can I just tell you how excited I am for this conversation and so happy that you are here with me to talk about this. I cannot think of anybody better than you Madison King.
Madison: Oh, Stacee thank you so much. But you know, I'm really excited and I'm actually very honored, you know, to be part of your podcast, you know, very professional, some great information there. So I hope I can, I can add to that
Stacee: Oh, that's so kind. Thank you. Well, I just had to have this conversation because I found energy medicine. It must have been about a year and a half ago by way of, Donna Eden. and I'm going to have you chat just a little bit about her later, because I think it's important for people to have some context. I found her work. And then I found your work by way of hers. maybe I heard you guys in a conversation somewhere or something. I can't remember right now. I ended up taking one of your courses, which was fantastic called fit face.
And I'll have you mention that later on. because that's so wonderful. and I've learned obviously about some of the other folks that are out there teaching it too, most of which have come from Donna Eden's trainings and all of that. I've got to tell you, it has made such an incredible impact on my life, this energy practice that I've kind of adopted over the last year and a half.
And so now I just feel like I want to tell everybody about it. I'm not very good at explaining it yet. I want everybody to know about it. and I want everybody to do it. That's the thing, you know? And so I figured who better to bring on if I can get her to come on the show and, and teach us a bit about the basics of energy medicine, because, this is not something that most people know about.
Right. Let's face it. So I would love to know when, when you have somebody in front of you that knows nothing about energy medicine, maybe they just ask you. So what is it that you do Maddie how do you explain to them what energy medicine is?
Madison: That's a great question, actually. And it really does depend on the person I've got in front of me. You know, whether it's a yoga teacher or a sort of high court judge or something, you choose your vocabulary, but you know, energy medicine is something that, anyone can. Anyone, you know, you do not have to be special.
And I really want to make that clear at the start. You know, anyone, especially children can do it, you know, because it's just so easy. And all it is is working with the energies of the body. Energies are all around us. There's wind, you know, you and I are now talking transatlantic. It's energetic. The energies are going, you know, acupuncture, most people have heard of acupuncture deals with the energy pathways in the body.
The, a lot of the ancient cultures worked with chakras or noughties or you know, something energetic and it's your energy. And we have love. As we've become more technologically fluent. If you want developed, we diminished our ability to sense our own energies, you know, and that wise one within so energy medicine is a really great way.
it was devised, by Donna Eden and I've worked with her as one of her original students,
more than three decades ago. And I just bless the day I met that woman again. And it's, uh, she developed this, which is just so easy. It's organic, it's natural. And just with your hands, you can move energy.
You can touch certain points on the body. You don't have to be precise, but you can move your own energy. You can move the energy of your loved ones, your family, and you can use move the energy of your pets. When you move the energy to, with why would you move it? You need to move it to get a balance. And once your energy is balanced, that filters down into the physical, but also the mental.
You know, and that's one of the aspects at the moment in the world, you know, mental health, you know, it can really help balance out and bring back optimism, bring back hope, bring back that feeling of not all is lost, you know? So, it touches anyone on every level. But the one thing I love about is it touches you.
Once you activate the energies, it's very easy to do that. It touches you in a way you need to be touched. And we're all absolutely unique, you know, gets that vibrate. Donna Eden says raising the vibration of the world person by person,
Stacee: I isn't that beautiful. And I agree a hundred percent, a hundred percent. I think that is so incredibly true. And what is, because that is so. Hard for somebody. I remember when I first was learning this to wrap your head around the idea that you can use your own hands to literally affect your own energy patterns, your energy systems, what is a typical reaction you get from somebody when you kind of explain that to them for the first time?
Are they bewildered? Are they thinking that you're
Madison: Well, they knew what they did sometimes back home. That's a little bit too much. Everybody's energy. Is there, the wind electricity, all of that. And our hands are like little electromagnetic pads. So you can do a very simple exercise if you rub your hands together and shake them off and just feel, if you, can you feel anything between them?
Is there a heat? Is there like a little pushing against your hands? You know, and if you do that, most people can feel that if not my coming plan is I will energy test. Okay. So that's, just taking their arm out, asking them to hold it and then I'll push it? down. It's lovely and strong unit. And then I'll, I'll move their energy.
I won't even touch them, but I'll move their energy in a way their energy doesn't like, and then you retest the arm and it will go weak, however strong they are, they will go weak. And that is when people think, oh, you're not praying. You're pressing differently. You know, all these excuses, but that's when they get a sense of the impact of moving energy on the body.
And, you know, I think sometimes Stacee, it's good to feel, feel it rather than, than talk about it. And it be an intellectual
Stacee: I agree. I
Madison: try and get my hands on them. Stacy.
Stacee: They're like wait back off lady. no, I agree. I think because one of those things you just have to experience, whether you do it to yourself or somebody does it to you to get it. And, and it's, I've watched, on video people go through those energy tests and it is comical to see their reaction when w w w just what you explained, they're just like, how is that possible?
She hardly did anything. And now all of a sudden, I can't hold my arm up anymore.
Madison: yeah.
And if we, if we've got time on this podcast, I'll share with you a test which people can do by themselves.
Stacee: Yes. I want to get into that.
I definitely want to get into that. Cause I think that's, and I'm not great at that, by the way. So I want you to talk about that,
Madison: oh, you will. By the time I've
Stacee: Oh
good. If only you could get your hands on me. Right? Well, so you mentioned earlier a couple of different types of energy medicine that people may have heard of, like, like, acupuncture and, you know, maybe acupressure and people have heard the word chakras and things like that.
But what are some of the, because I know energy medicine is a bit broad. So what are some of the different types that there's what Reiki, what are some of the others that, that fit sort of under that umbrella
Madison: Well, there are lots. For example, I did study with, a man called, John Thie, Touch for Health. You know, you've attached for health. You have all the Kinesiologies you have Reikis you have therapeutic touch. You know, there are an awful lot of different pathways up the same mountain side.
Stacee: So they have a lot in common, all
Madison: That they have a lot in common, nothing. Do you know what Stacee? Nothing is new.
Okay. And I've been caught out like this I've thought I've invented things, you know, and I thought, Ooh, I've invented that. And then someone will say, no, no, no. The ancient Egyptians did that 3000 years ago, Maddie or the Mayans did that,
Stacee: Thank you for raining on my parade. I appreciate it.
Madison: now one, the original there, you know? And, it's just, and they're all valid. They are all valid. the reason I particularly love Donna's work is I love Donna Eden. And I think that work takes on the energy of the person who, who births it if you want. And this is a woman, who is so gifted, so generous of the heart, not a guru at all, you know, she just is so excited to share this with everyone, you know, and she's the real deal.
And so, that's why. Well, my work is. really based on her work and I have So much to be grateful to her for, you know, and it's getting out there and it's lovely. And that's the other thing I was going to say about her work is you can take it to whatever level you can just read her book, energy medicine.
You can go on YouTube and look at some of her, her free videos got loads of, you know, videos on her website. And you can think general. I don't want it for anyone else. I just want it for me.
Stacee: that's kind of where I'm at. Well, and I work on my dog a little bit, but I'm going to have you talk about that later. Cause that's your thing. And I know that your hearts. Yeah. But, but yeah, I agree with that. Well, that's what I did. I've read that book. I watched some of the YouTube, I think you're right.
She's, it's accessible. Right. It's accessible to everyone
Madison: It's very accessible and you'll be amazed. You know, the one thing I do see in this, in this profession, if you want is people who want to make it complicated, want to make it their own. Oh, it was really.
difficult, you know, and it's not, you know, and the thing is with, with energy medicine, well, Donna's work it isn't Aladdin's cave and you'll be drawn to certain of the tools, certain of the gems and you go with what feels right.
And then you'll be good. Good. Yeah, That,
you know, so yeah. It's very versatile.
Stacee: I agree. I agree. I now don't the Eden method, of course, is what her program is called now, I think, and, and sort of as the umbrella that all her work falls under. Right. And so what, that's the one I'm most familiar with? I've had acupuncture and stuff. I've never had Reiki or any of these things, but, I'm, I'm what I've been learning about and working with for the last year and a half is the method.
And just as a complete amateur, of course, but. can you tell me a little bit about, or tell the listeners a little bit about what that is exactly how it's different from the others? I know it's based on, is it nine different energy patterns,
Madison: Yes, Donna Eden in case no one knows her has the ability to see and to sense energy. And she sees and senses nine energy patterns. So she works first of all, with the Meridian. Which are the pathways of energy, the motorways of energy through the body, if you want.
And then also the chakras which are like service stations on those motorways, you know, these chakras, the Sanskrit word for spiral, for wheels. So it's the spinning wheels of energy there, which come out and they're, they're very interesting and they are the easiest energies to work.
with because they come out of the body.
You can, if you clean your hands, which is rubbing together, shaking them off and putting them over the body, you can feel, you can feel that energy very easily. Do you know what Stacy it is when I'm teaching? It is. I know when I do the chakra class, I'm going to get someone going, oh, I can feel
Stacee: Yeah.
Madison: I can feel it.
Stacee: Is that fun,
Madison: it's really good. Then we also work with. a philosophy, really the five element philosophy, and she's just done actually a five element class, which is fascinating. now that is really Interesting.
in that it is this ancient Oriental philosophy that, you know, you have five elements basically, which is water, wood, fire, earth, and metal, and that will dictate your emotional challenges and strengths, your mental challenges and strengths, your physical challenges and strengths.
It will dictate how you are under stress. If you understand the five elements. So she does a lot of work on this. Your relationships will be so much better because you don't take it personally. You know, one very quick example. If I was married to a woman.
Stacee: huh?
Madison: Man, woods are, you know, they're doers, they're professional people normally that no nonsense, the, the kindest and most loyal husbands you could have, but they have to respect you and they don't want waffle.
So if it was,
Stacee: I
might be a wood woman.
Madison: it's rubbish. It's I'm waffling on here then,
but it's rubbish night tonight, garbage nights. So I might say to a wood husband garbage night tonight, could you take that out after seven o'clock please straightforward. Yeah, that's fine. No problem. Wood's enough that if I was married to an earth husband, I said seven o'clock.
Can you take the rubbish? Today and he could inside, he'd be, Oh, that's a bit harsh, but my would, my, my earth husband would much prefer, oh, hi darling. I listen. I really need you to take it up that rubbish tonight. Would you mind doing a thank you so much because Earth's lovely. They love to be needed. They want that.
They want that, you know, but if I talk like that to my would husband, it would drive him crazy. What do you want? Just tell me what you want
really good for relationships. She also talks about the electrics. Every single cell in the body, has an electrical charge on it.
I mean, the biggest of all is the heart, which, you know, they can monitor that now.
And so if you can activate to the optimum, the electrics of your body, you are revitalizing, replenishing every cell in the body. Really good for wound healing. Good for broken heart, you know,
Stacee: Oh, wow.
Madison: And that heart is the main generator. So we have that. We have a basic grid, which she sees, which is, you know, very, this, our advanced work grids can go out through it's like
the chassis of a car, really, and they can get thrown out through deep trauma, you know, real deep trauma and shock can send your grid out. you will, nature's wonderful and you will mend it and you'll carry on, but you'll never be the optimum that you can be, you know, Celtic weave, you know, the figure of eights.
She sees around the aura and the, by, at the human biofield, we work with that a lot. And do you know, I suppose Stacy, that's a, one of the most useful things. If your listeners think, what can I do
a figure of eight over a scar over anything at all on your body will help integrate and balance the body.
So she has these various systems. none of them are complicated and she has very easy ways to start with. We get more complicated as we go more, but you don't need to go in that direction unless you wanted to very easy things. You know? So for example, Bringing the blood to the forebrain. When you're stressed to find a solution is really something we do automatically.
And a lot of this work, you think people do that anyway, so you can go, oh my God, what am I going to do? So you're automatically bringing your little electromagnetic pad, which will attract energy to two points on your forehead here.
And that brings as you think, or maybe gonna do, I've got to do this. I
Stacee: And it feels
Madison: problem
Stacee: It's very calming.
Madison: brings blood up there.
And suddenly you fight, you see a solution because when you're, you know, when you really overstressed, you lose the ability to bring blood to the full brain
unit. So this is an absolute Aladdin's cave of all these little
Stacee: I agree. It is. When I read her book, I was like, oh my goodness. There's but it is very, I agree that they have done a fantastic job through, through all their teachers, including yourself and, and, and just everything that they've got going on and taking something that has, there's so much that you can do in so many different ways.
You can go about it, but making it very easy to start and making it very easy, to feel some differences right away. And I think that that is that's, that's so important because otherwise people don't know where the heck to start with the whole
Madison: In fact, we, so there is a very easy stop point and you will feel the difference. And that's the thing. If you do it, you feel the difference.
Stacee: And I think what's so amazing about it is, like you said, it's, it's very simple and easy. Anybody with any kind of, almost any, and maybe you make modifications to certain things, but really people with any sort of physical challenges and that sort of thing can still do it. can do a lot of this stuff or they can have somebody else work on them if that's easier, but it's so empowering to, to just know that.
This is something you can do for yourself whenever you need it. And I think when you feel tired, there's certain things, you know, you can do to perk yourself up that doesn't involve drinking a big, big cup of coffee. and you know, when you're stressed, there are things you can do to calm yourself right down, and bring yourself, like you said, get your brain working well again, get out of that fight, fight flight freeze, the whole thing, that whole thing I've, I've taken.
And I'm like I said earlier, I've only skimmed the surface really, and I'm still, I feel tremendous impact. And I, the first thing I love to do in the mornings, it took me a while to memorize this, like several months, I had to look at the diagrams, but I love it's so easy and relaxing. I can, I really just never skip it because it feels so good.
And that's just tracing my meridians. I have found that to be such a lovely thing to do, and the first thing in the morning, and it's just, you know, it doesn't require a lot of effort and, and it's so crazy that you would feel anything at all. And yet it just perks me up and just really gets everything going.
and then I do work with the energy routine and, and I'm sure you might want to talk about that a little bit later, cause that's a great starting point. I, I do that almost every day and again, it's something that I can do in the morning. I'm not a morning person. So I don't like to do that, that hard exercise.
Like some people do. I can't even wrap my head around that idea. And as much as I love yoga doing it in the morning, it's still a little bit much for me, you know? So to be able to do something like these things and have, I just feel so much better, I can tell when I don't do them. So
Madison: And, and, you know, I'm glad you brought them up because I'm glad you said you knew because when you first come and you think, Okay.
I've got to learn to chase some meridians and a couple of them are really long
Stacee: Yes, they are.
Madison: and you think, oh, all going to do that one now I can't remember
Stacee: I know. It's like, can I skip that one? Cause that's confusing.
Madison: So Daisy got out of order that, there's a really simple way. Okay. If you go onto YouTube to Donna's channel, whatever Donna Eden, she has done there's one she's done quite recently on tracing the Meridian. So rather than looking at diagrams, sometimes it's easier to just bookmark that her in and you do it with her.
Okay. And you do that. If you do it everyday, sooner or later, one day you'll be
Stacee: It just clicks. Yeah. I began to wonder if it ever would. I'm like, I should have known this by now. It's been like four
Madison: Yeah.
Stacee: finally one day it just clicked. Yeah.
Madison: And that is what you're doing. Stacee. I congratulate you. You've got the two most effective things. Really. If you get the pathways of energy moving, they will affect the mind, the body, you know, everything, and you can't always clean your hands, shake them off and then connect into the start of an, of a Meridian and then trace it, you know, and they flow where one ends, the next one begins and everything.
and you can also experiment, you know, if any of your listeners are aroma therapists or if you've heard of flower essences, or if you like crystals, you know, sometimes for example, you could have a little bit of selenite in your hand, or even a little bit of rescue remedy in your hands, rub together, you know, to bring another energetic, you don't need that.
Okay. But I like this, my
toy box. I like playing with these things. and just to see how it feels. And what you'll find if you've never traced meridians before, I'm talking to your dear listeners. Now, what you will find is suddenly one day, you'll feel the energy move. You'll feel it. And everyone feels it senses it if you want in a slightly different way, and you'll begin to feel the benefit, but it is quite subtle.
And it is cumulative, of doing the meridians and the daily energy routine. But one day you just know you've made that connection and then no one, no one is different to this. Okay. Everyone gets very keen. And then there comes a day when you don't do It for a few days. Now that is the real learning process because suddenly you feel your energy and your wellbeing sinking and.
Oh, my goodness. It really does make a difference.
You know, so never kick yourself. If you think I'm gonna try this and then you do it, you're feeling good. And then you can't be bothered, you know, tired got too much to do and all that. and you, you get that feeling. It gets you back on track, you know, and you can do it anytime of day.
You know, it's the thing is, is to do it. So it fits into your lifestyle and where daily energy routine, is, you know, you can do it in two minutes, five minutes, 10 minutes, you just choose the, the exercises. You know, if you're rushed for time, you think what, what do I feel, moves energy on me, you
Stacee: Yes.
Madison: just do it.
Stacee: Yeah. That's a good point because I think when I do the whole thing with even like the lymph flushing, the lymphatic points and stuff, it takes me about a half hour if I'm taking my time. But if I'm in a hurry, I just take out a few things and still do something though. Things that I know are going to, you
Madison: And you knew where women Stacee, we can multitask. So a really good thing.
Stacee: And I do!
Madison: And it'll post it. Note I have these posts cause they're very sweet. And I might put on there, I don't know, cross crawl or the name of one of the exercises. And I put it in the bathroom where I can see it when I'm cleaning my teeth or if I'm sitting down.
Cause some of those exercises was, excuse me, new, you
know, you can, you can do a
couple of
thumbs, put one on your windscreen. So if you're stuck at traffic lights, you do something, you know, not something that's going to, everyone looking at you, but you know,
Stacee: Flailing
Madison: you can when your kettles boiling, you know?
So that's another way of integrating it into your life, which is very easy and suddenly you're doing it, it.
Stacee: Yes. Yes. And you could, you can break them all apart. You don't have to do them all together. You're still going to get the benefit. You can do them multiple times a day. If you want to it's it's and you can't hurt yourself Because you do start to worry. Sometimes. Like that seems complicated.
I might've pushed my energy in the wrong direction or something, and it's nothing that's going to, you know, hurt you. It might make you if anything, what a little tired or something. If you, if you do this backwards,
Madison: No that's the beauty of it, you know, I have, this is not particularly scientific. Okay. but.
over 40 years of working with energy, it's never failed me in that. I have a belief that there is this wiser one within each of us. And if you go a bit mad and you do lots of things this way is when to say, oh, look at her. She's really enthusiastic today.
You know? I mean, what does she think she's doing, man. And, and, and I take any notes of what she's doing. Let's this
you know
Stacee: thing.
Madison: Yeah.
and the body will, will take what it needs and it will utilize that in the best way possible for you. And, you know, even if you get it wrong, you know, that's not really wrong, but you put something in the wrong direction, that sort of intention.
And that's why I would say to everyone always set your intention, you know, of, for my health and wellbeing, you know, the body overrides it. You know, the body knows what's behind in your mind and you want to heal yourself. You want to have that.
empowered self care and it override. You've got the safety mechanism, which overrides and, Yeah. So that's another reason I love it is it's so organic. It's so safe.
Anyone can do it, you know,
Stacee: Yeah. That's it. That's incredible.
Madison: I will just say one thing, because sometimes people do get very tired. You mentioned that when they first do it and don't worry because it's energy medicine, everyone thinks they should be up going way.
That's part of it. You know, it's not okay. Sometimes as you work with your energies, you will feel very tired. and that is because one of the best things sometimes for the body is sleep. We call it.
the yin for kidney energy, especially the very best thing you can do is go to bed and sleep or rest.
So if you are feeling that, that is the healing process that your body has chosen for you
Stacee: That makes a lot of sense. And, and also too, I know a lot of times when you're working with a natural healing modalities of different kinds, when you first start, depending on what your health is like, where, where you're at, you know, health wise, you might be pushing more toxins out of your body and things like that.
Or you might have some cellular die off, not necessarily with energy medicine, the cellular die off, but I can imagine that because energy is lying underneath, it's the framework for everything that happens in our body. So probably when somebody is moving their energy energy around in the beginning, maybe some toxins.
I don't know. What do you think about
Madison: Well, I guess, because you're, stimulating your lymphatic system. All your symptoms are suddenly being woken up and you know, that's why, if you are a normal health healthy person, that's fine. And you can ground in our, you out to Do that in a minute. But if you had an autoimmune disease or if you were chronically ill energy medicine is fantastic, but take it a little bit more slowly.
, you know, just take it steady. be patient, it took you many, many, many, many years to get into that state, you know, and you just, take it slowly, getting back into balance,
Your body will tell you, you know, on a normal, healthy person, this won't probably be a problem. It is. If you've already got an existing problem, listen to your body If you get a little bit of a headache, if you feel tired, you.
think, okay, I'm going to stop and I'm just going to integrate in.
But one of the most powerful things you can do to help that is to ground yourself.
Stacee: yes. Can you explain that? I know what that means, but please
Madison: Yes. Think of yourself as a conduit between what's above us and what's below us. There's a flow of energy coming up from the earth. We call it the yin energy through us, up to the sky, and then there's an energy coming down. And this has been caught with sight. You knew with Kirlian photography, scientists approving this and your body relies on that two way street or anything.
Okay. So the energy's coming up through the soles of your feet through shock trauma, air travel. I mean, a lot of us, Our feet never ever touch the ground
in
Stacee: feet, especially.
Madison: our bare feet. Now we would design to be barefoot, to be this conduit, to have that energy moving in our bodies because that's the secret, the energy has to move.
Then we came along. Someone once said the worst invention of man was The shoe
because it began to cut us off. Unit. And if you look at us today, some people they're feeding them, touch the ground. They live in high rise buildings. They work in high rise buildings. They go between the two by cars, trains, or planes means nothing.
And then you get stress. Then you get shock. Then you get trauma and something, your polarity switches, Stacee, and suddenly, rather than taking it in that energy, That healing energy discharging, all that old stale, tired energy it's repelled. So an exit for that stale, tired energy is closed. And the entry for new friends, energy coming in is closed in both ways.
So you become rather like a little stagnant pool really.
Stacee: good.
Madison: is moving. And one simple thing that you could do okay, is to massage the balls of your feet or the soles of your feet every day. You can even spoon them. If you have a little stainless steel spoon like this, this is the sole of your foot. And you just come up.
This helps that polarity around the right way.
Stacee: I heard you talk about that early on and I have done it and it feels amazing. First of all, just that nice cold stainless steel spoon on your foot. It feels amazing, but yeah, that's fascinating.
Madison: And this are very lucky. One of my students gifted me this, she painted, she painted the, the side of it, but you know, I do this if I do well before, COVID I did a lot of international travel plane travel. First thing I do trace my meridians and ground myself with this to make sure that two way stretch of energy is going lots of other different ways of grounding yourself.
But that's the simplest one open up. There's a point called bubbling spring
Stacee: Oh yeah.
Madison: the ball of your foot.
You know, it's something which people that yeah.
Yeah, Yeah.
Okay. Okay.
Okay, Maddie, you know, but if you don't get it Right.
if you don't get grounded, all the other things you do don't work quite as well because you haven't got those things moving.
And in everyone thinks of, of the feeding cycle. If you want, or the earth energy coming up through you, we get energy through our breath. We get it coming up, through the earth. But especially with chronic illness, which we're talking about here, when you get those reactions, you ne need an exit. When you start working with your energies, So therefore making sure you're grounded gives it a huge exit. Come on. Oh, you old stale, tired energies out the body. it's one of the most useful things you can do one of the simplest.
Stacee: That's incredible to hear you explain it like that, because that is one of the things I took up, probably I learned about and took a, probably about six months after I started with my energy practice was earthing or grounding. And, and I, and I had started it with, like I said, seeing you talk about the whole, the spoon on the foot thing and talking about that and, and some other things, and just rubbing my feet, opening up the gates in between my toes and things like that.
And I was just impressed at what a difference I could feel there. But then about six months later, I, I came across Clint Ober and his work around Earthing
and all of that. He's lovely. And I started going out every day and standing, putting my bare feet on the earth for at least 15 minutes. Now I do it for even longer.
If I can, a couple of times a day, I'll go out. And it's so odd that that is the most natural thing in the world. And yet it felt so. Odd to me the idea of going to do it. But the very second, my feet hit that earth. I was home again. I just felt like I was home. It felt like the most natural thing in the world, because of course it is.
And like you said, the earth gives and takes from us what we need for, to give and take. it's incredible.
Madison: And as you say, it feels like coming home to yourself. When I, I, I spend a lot of time in Spain. I have a house in Spain and then by the sea and just sitting on the sand every day, taking the dogs down to the beach, digging my fingers into the sand and my feet into the sand. It's almost like my energy is no now.
And it says everything goes, any irritation, I've collected anything at all. And here, even in the winter, unless it's really, really awful weather, I walk the dogs. And so I am walking and then I have my favorite little spots where I sit down, I take my shoes off and my feet are on the earth. Yeah.
Dig my fingers into the, the earth as well.
And I may sit there sometimes for 15, 20 minutes, you know, depending on the time I've got, I may not if I'm in a rush, but if I am, you know, and it's some, you can feel, you can feel the, the two way exchange.
Stacee: There is no feeling quite like that exact feeling. It is incredible. And I have even done a, talked about it a lot in the podcast because I just, I know it takes some real coaxing to get people to go out and do that, which is so crazy because that is our most natural state inherently,
Madison: and it's free.
Stacee: it's
free.
Yeah.
Madison: a hundred pounds a set. People
might do it then.
Stacee: Maybe that's what we need to do to get people motivated. I
Madison: But it is because I think it is so natural. It's free, it's organic. Everyone can do it. And you know. if you are listening to this and you think, well, I can't do it because I live in central London and there's No.
earth around me. I actually saw on Amazon, they are selling bath mats
made of live moss.
Stacee: Really?
Madison: And I can remember years ago, teaching Donna was teaching in New York in a high rise building and she was talking about grounding.
And of course there was, got their feet on the ground when you're up new stories. And she bought the, these little trays of of grass.
grown grass.
Stacee: sod.
Yeah.
Madison: Yes, the grass what do you call it. uh,
Stacee: it here.
Madison: Sod. Yeah.
Stacee: Yeah.
Madison: put sod. She
did. And, and she, you know, get people to come up and she would test their, their ability to, to connect their, their polarity.
And of course, most people were out because they'd flown in or they'd come in on the, the underground or whatever, whatever, and she would get them standing on that sod. Okay. Which represented and had the energy of earth
Stacee: Yup.
Madison: I know a couple of minutes or so retest them and they would be grounded.
Stacee: Isn't that incredible?
Madison: if you live in a city, two things you can do, you can get us get one of these Moss bathmats I haven't had one, I have to say, but I thought what a clever idea.
And if you're not sure, I'm not sure about Moss.
Stacee: That's not your thing.
Madison: Okay. Okay. Get, and I got this from Donna's daughter Dondi she had a piece of match, you know, this rug sample And on it, she had stuck pebble pebbles from the beach.
Okay. And she has that under her desk shoes off feet on the pebbles. Cause the pebbles as well, have the energy Of the earth you know?
Stacee: of the earth. Yeah,
Madison: Yeah. They are the earth. And so, you know, there's always something, if you stop and think, you think I need to be grounded, I need to be earth. What can I do? I can't get outside or you don't want to get outside or
Stacee: Right?
Madison: to go outside, make yourself a pebble match or get a massage
Stacee: Oh, that's such great. That's such great advice. I love that. Yeah, earthing, grounding. Same thing, different words. It's so powerful, so powerful. And you combine that with the other energy work and it's wow. What a, what an incredible thing. What, what would you say are some of the, like the most common benefits that you hear people, say they are experiencing after they've been doing a, kind of a daily energy practice of some sort, whatever.
However, they've kind of built theirs out to be for a while. What are some of the most common.
Madison: That's a very good question. And I mean, normally everyone has something that they feel can be improved. So I always say to people on a scale of one to 10 or zero to 10, you know, with nine being the worst, zero being good or vice versa, where are you now? So you get a feeling of where they are.
And so sometimes you can gauge it.
So it may be pain relief. Okay.
It may be energy level. Okay. it may be sleep. This is a big one. When energies begin to get, harmonized against sleep can come, you know, so it can be energy, but definitely their immune systems get stronger. So they'll have less flus, less coughs, you know? So yes, immunity, sleep overall vitality and energy and mood, you know, suddenly you, you find yourself switching from the glass is half empty to the glass is half full. Yeah.
So it, and it, you know, sometimes Stacee, we, you get things like, whoa, wow, fantastic. You know, major results really quickly. And other people it's very slow and steady, but there is always an improvement of some kind, but, you know, human nature being as it is, you sometimes have to, you know, in my practice, I'd say.
Well, how are you feeling? Well, I don't feel any different at all unit. Okay. So, how's that pain you had that really bad pain in your back? How's that? What pain? Oh that, oh, that wind.
Stacee: No, it was kind of a big deal at the time. Yeah.
Madison: So it's just like, sometimes it's, I dunno what it is in our human nature. It's just remind yourself of what you were. That's why it's quite good to evaluate before you start. And also when you evaluate, you're sort of setting the intention, which is a communication with your body saying, do you know, I really want, my immunity stronger,
Stacee: Sure.
Madison: my sleep to be better.
Stacee: .
Yeah. I've had so many, so many great benefits from doing the energy medicine practices, but. Certainly increased energy is, is an obvious one. You mentioned that after you do these, you just perk up, you know, you don't have to do them all either. You can just do two or three different ones that, you know, will perk you up maybe mid day or, or just out of bed or whatever.
That's been a real treat. and my energy is usually pretty good, but we all have those dips. It doesn't matter, you know? And, and I'll tell you, here's the most fascinating one. Well, there's two actually I have taken for at least 20 years, maybe longer, Claritin for seasonal allergies and dust allergies.
Right? So, allergy medicine. And even though it's not a real strong one, I've always just kind of taken it year round. Cause every time I stopped taking it, I would just be all clogged up and miserable. And I just kind of thought, well, I guess this is what I'm going to have to do the rest of my life.
And year after year, season after season in spring, When, of course the outdoor allergies are at their worst, at least where I live out near Seattle. every year I would stay think, well, I'll stay in doors a little bit more, which breaks my heart. Cause I'm an outdoor girl at heart. I love being outdoors and connecting with nature.
And I grew up that way, you know? And, but I would think, I have to stay inside from like, there'd be two or three months where I'd hardly go outside. It was awful. And you know, what was, I couldn't figure it out. And I year after year I would be outside less and yet I would be getting worse.
My, my symptoms would get worse, my allergy symptoms. And all of a sudden I took this up. I think it must have been what time of year was it? When I started doing the energy medicine practices and then the earthing which also has helped, but. I don't know, it was probably, I think it was in the fall when I started.
And so by the time spring came, I, I had been really realizing that, yes, this, this stuff is doing something for me, And so I decided, you know what, I'm going to, I, I stopped taking the allergy medicine through the winter, which I hadn't really done in a long time, but I was feeling good enough. I thought, I don't think I need it.
I'll get a little stuffy, no big deal. And then spring comes and I thought, oh no, here we go. I'm going to have to stay in doors for the most part for a few months. You know, this is what it's been year after year. And I just decided that I think I need to connect with nature more. And I learned how to use energy medicine to calm, triple warmer, I can do that and I can do it while I'm outside and having the sort of response to the pollen and stuff.
I learned how to kind of. Retrain my immune system. It's not that it was weak, but there was a time 25 years ago where I had a pretty serious chronic illness and it did get weak. And it also got confused.
And I came out of that with the seasonal allergies and dust allergies, which I'd never had in my life, but I was left with those because of my poor confused immune system. And I thought the more I disconnect from all this stuff, the worst these things are getting. So I'm going to opt to do my energy work, do my earthing and, and get into nature and reconnect.
And I have made it for the first time in all those years, I've made it through all of spring all of summer without taking a single allergy pill. I mean, that is
like a huge, huge, deal. And I credit it all to the energy work that I've been doing and the, and the earth, And then also I have a situation where I have a histamine intolerance, they call it, which I think is a weird name, but basically sometimes my body doesn't get rid of histamine as efficiently as it used to. So I have to kind of make sure I'm not eating real high histamine foods, too many of them at once, especially when I've got histamine from pollen and things going on.
But what I've learned to do is work with my spleen to help my body metabolize that out better in it has made a huge difference in my, many less symptoms because of it. So those are, those are really big deals for me, you know? I just think that you could benefit in some way, shape or form.
I don't care. What your health situation is? You're going to experience some good stuff. If you commit to doing it, like you said,
Madison: Yes. And as you say, it's committing Stacey to doing it and you did it. You said something there, which is really hitting the nail on the head. Your energies became confused.
Stacee: yes.
Madison: Okay. And that's what often happens, you know, because our bodies are hard, wired to be healthy. Right?
They become confused. They become mal-programmed, if you want.
And the responses, the stress responses get, get all over the place. They'd go haywire. So just doing a daily energy routine, just grounding, just tracing the meridians, just working triple warmer or spleen. I mean, all these are strange terms
maybe, but you know, wearing what they mean on, on Donna's YouTube or my website or whatever the book, you know, suddenly you de-confuse the energy suddenly there's clarity of that's what I'm supposed to be doing.
I'm supposed to be metabolizing the I'm supposed to be connecting with nature. Oh, okay. I've got it. Now. I forgot that for 20 years.
Stacee: Right.
Madison: The beauty beauty of energy work is I said before often the results are sort of slow and nuanced, but sometimes you really do think, oh my goodness, I've had this for all these years.
And suddenly it's gone suddenly my body knows what to do, and that's what it does. You know, it de-confuses and brings clarity.
Stacee: Yeah.
Madison: You know, it takes you back to default a good default if you want.
Stacee: Yes. It's, it's incredible. I'd love to have you, since we were talking about trying to figure out what kind of your body being confused and what your body is okay with, and isn't okay with, can you talk a little bit about energy testing and what that enables you to sort of determine, because a lot of us have no idea what we think.
We think certain things are good for our body. That really just aren't good for our body. It doesn't really like it. It's just playing along. And, and , you have several ways that, that you can figure some of that stuff out.
Madison: Well, you know, Yes, We think certain things are good for our bodies, but we're probably victims of incredibly clever marketing and advertising, you know? And that's, that's, that's the thing. So you can think, I don't know. I'm so confused. What's good for my body. What's not in general and what's good for my unique body chemistry.
Stacee: Right?
Madison: Say, I'm going to show you if I may one test, which is, there are lots of other ones. This is so important that if you go on my website and join the newsletter, you can join it afterwards. You, you, if you want

Stacee: don't
Madison: but it was so important that I gave as a free gift, . There's a whole section I did last year in COVID lots of free talks, all recorded on how to self test. So I'm going to talk about it very briefly now. And it's something that I invite you to try and also on my YouTube channel, Maddie King, you know, but this to me, there's lots of ways to self test this to me.
You use it home, or it is not necessarily very portable. I can show you a portable one as well, but. This is the one that gets everyone just I mean in an hour. Oh my God. I'm going to feel the difference. Okay,
So you need a container. I have this rather attractive enamel jog, but you can get one of those plastic water containers, you know, anything big because the secret of this test is to get the exact weight for you.
All right.
And how do you know if it's exact and the weight in here is done by stones? Okay.
Lots of stones. All right. On the water, you can do it with water. So I am putting it here so you can see it. All right.
Stacee: Yep.
Madison: This is exactly the right weight for me, because when I say a true statement, my arm is straight.
So the energy is running through here. And then this is going to provide a resistance it's going to test the integrity of the energy running through the muscle. Okay.
Not how strong I am. It's the integrity of the energy. What does something do to my energy? If my energy doesn't like something, it will momentarily weaken it.
If my body processes it easily, it will be strong. Okay.
So, first one, I want to see if this is the right weight. So I say a true statement. My name is Maddie King, and I can lift that. Now you can see my muscles, you know, the biceps going, you know,
Stacee: Bulging
Madison: he does, it does sort of, you know, I need a bit to lift it, but I can lift it now.
Let's see if I introduce something that my body doesn't like and bodies don't like lies. So I'm going to say my name is Minnie mouse. I can't lift him
Stacee: You tried gave it the same amount of effort.
Madison: the same amount of effort and everything is exactly the same. And when insane life classes, all the students get no, no,no - you're cheating and I make them do it and everyone's going, oh,
I didn't believe it. How does that work? Right. Because it's the right. Wait. Now look what happens. I want to really stress how important it is to have the right weight.
If I just take one stone out of there.
All right. My name is Maddie king. Yes.
Stacee: Yup.
Madison: at the same as last time. name's Minnie mouse.
Stacee: Still can
lift
it. Okay. So you bet you, you need to get it to the point where you can barely lift it when you're telling the truth or
Madison: Yes,
Stacee: And yes,
Madison: that's it.
Stacee: of an effort, but you can do it.
Madison: And then you can, , you can do, for example, food, you can make food. Your medicine, you know, is one of our sources of energy. And a lot of food is energetically bankrupt. Now it wasn't grown in The country. You live in, it's kept, it's stored it's transport. We knew, we know that. Okay. but I will say it's letting go of expectations because in lettuce leaf, your body may find very difficult today to metabolize where it finds chocolate very good today.
You know, you really have to wish
Stacee: Yeah. That's a good day.
Madison: Demi, But, you, you find that, you can really find true. And you can see exactly what your body chemistry and it's a dance because your body chemistry is changing all the time. And that's the beauty of it because I'm a cheese-o-holic and it often comes up no don't want cheese.
But I know that one day it will go. Yep. Today the body chemistry is such that you can give me some cheese today cause I can cope with it, you know, so never, never have anything again, but it's how it matches your body chemistry and all you'll do. I didn't bring food. Imagine this is a piece of cheese.
I'd hold the cheese in against me. No gates, my solar plexus. And I'm going to have to fake this cause
this is painful and it will either go. I didn't say anything. I didn't ask anything. I just hold it. What's that done to my energy field? Yes.
Stacee: So you're bringing the energy of the food into your own
Madison: In my field.
Now I, if my body can cope, Oh, I know I've got, I've got a, I've got a co Q 10 tablet here. They'll
do it for real. If my body can cope with that, if it needs it, if it's going to resonate and dance with it, it will be strong. If it doesn't need it, it doesn't want it at the moment. Then the integrity of the energy running through that muscle will not be good.
So both feet on the ground. And I always say, cause I'm going to do this for real. I seek the truth. And what I do with that truth is entirely my choice. I'll tell you why I say that in a minute
Stacee: Okay.
Madison: that's for, then I take a nice deep breath. Yeah. My body likes that
So I can take them off to be spoken. Yes.
the reason I do say that and I do encourage you to say it. Yeah.
Foods can be very addictive in their nature. And so if you say I seek the truth and what I do that truth is entirely my choice, that little voice within that triple warmer voice, is going, hah, we're going to sabotage this test because we want to eat that.
. You know, So you've got to get that voice out. You've got to remain objective and neutral, and you have far more accuracy like, that. and also it's another thing is just think of it, as I'm really curious to know if you know, and so you take the sting out, you know.
Stacee: Right, right. I think that's interesting. And your body chemistry does change and it, it fluctuates. So nice to know that just because it says my body says no today doesn't
Madison: Yes. you will notice trends.
You do notice trends of with very rarely, is it good on cheese or bread or sugar or whatever, you know? so you, you build up a picture, you get to know your body
Stacee: Yes.
Madison: down to you. If you, if you make food, your medicine
Stacee: And
maybe you'll think, well, maybe I'll just need a little, teeny bit, cause I know my body doesn't really want it instead of eating a whole piece of this cake, maybe I'll have a couple bites, still, not the best idea, but at least it's better
Madison: Yes. And you can test that. You can test that. So saying, I haven't say banana came up. and it went, we can hit, Oh, I really want that banana. So you've tested by holding a banana in a sort of generic sense and you think, okay, I'm getting to, I'm going to test quantity. So half a banana, maybe half a banana.
Your body's fine with same with wheat pasta. For example, I remember testing many, many years ago, an Italian woman in London and pasta came up weak for her. And she went, Oh, you crazy woman, you crazy woman. I'm not giving up
some Italian Mariano I'm not giving up pasta and I thought she went, she actually adamant she wasn't going to give it up.
We have eaten pasta all my life and I'm not giving it up, you know, and I thought, okay, go and buy all the different types um, we'll test each of them and you know what she brought, she was determined. Okay. She probably bought about, I know, 18, I didn't know how many pastas we
all. And two of. Them were okay,
Stacee: Oh
Madison: because how was that wheat grown? How was it stored? How, how was it processed? You know, it just worked with her chemistry. And so she had a pasta, but she always kept a collection of pasta if you want. I taught her how to self test and she'd self test to see what pasta can I eat today?
Stacee: I love it. She's going to eat one of them, but
which one is the question?
Madison: Where there's a will, there's a way, you know,
Stacee: Can. You test a sup? Well, the supplements you probably would take out one or two, whatever your normal a dosage is that you would consider, and that's what you would test yourself with. But like with food, for instance, can you test through wrappers or do you have to take it and put it in a glass bowl or something and then hold it to your, to your solar plexus area
Madison: Well, if you'll really pure about it. and if you're very sensitive, then I do suggest you do take him out of wrappers. okay.
Or if it comes into your mind, but I will test through wrappers
Stacee: okay.
Madison: I just, I don't do, I sort of automatically set the intention I'm testing what's within,
Stacee: Yeah.
Madison: you know, and I override.
sometimes when you first start, it's an idea. If it's easy to do,
Stacee: Yeah.
Madison: take it out of the wrapper.
Stacee: Okay. Okay. But you don't have to
necessarily, so what are your thoughts on how much time does somebody really need to dedicate daily, for instance, to an energy practice, to just start to, to, you know, get some reap, some sort of benefit from it.
Do you think, I know it's different for everybody, but maybe just a
Madison: it is different for everyone. So if you had someone with a really bad illness, well, if they'd broken a bone or something really acute or chronic, you know, something bad, then you would spend a bit more time because that's your medicine,
you know,
and you may say, Okay.
I'm going to do half an hour, twice a day.
Stacee: Sure.
Madison: whatever you feel like doing. Okay. And you'd listen to the body. Is that too much? Remember? I was saying before, it may be whoa, back off that's way too much, but in a person who just wants to feel more energized, build their immunity, be happier. Basically. I would say go with the flow every day, if you're feeling motivated.
Okay. I'll do it. I'll tell you what I do. Okay. If I'm feeling motivated, when I'm out walking, I do a lot of , energy medicine as I walk as I'm in nature, because it does enhance it. And I walk in areas where there is no body, so I can tap and
I can do it all.
I stand under a tree and Stretch and all of that you know.
And so I'm sort of doing it probably, you know, I never really think how long as I, as I multitask, but if I'm in a hurry, I may do my non-negotiables and it's three minute.
Stacee: Okay.
Madison: It's three minutes, but I will do something every day, even if it is just that three minutes. And I always say to myself, and you knew, even though I've been doing this for years and I teach it, I'm not perfect.
Sometimes they can't be bothered and I've got too much to do. I've got to do that.
And I say, if you can't make three minutes for yourself, Maddie king, something's wrong in your world,
Stacee: There's a problem. Yes,
Madison: And then I laugh, then I laugh because you've got to, because if I go in unwilling, it's, you know, it's not a good energy.
So then I left, oh, come on, Maddie. Just do three minutes whilst you're thinking about it. You could have done it.
Stacee: You could have done it already. Exactly. I love that. Well, talk a little bit about, because you can make your energy practice three exercises, or if I use the word exercise lightly, because we think of exercises like this hardcore physical demanding thing, and this, that is not what this is.
So yeah. For lack of a better word. You, you have different exercises that you can combine in any way, shape and form. And so you had mentioned that sometimes your students think, I don't want to try to figure out which ones to do today. So you have these cards or what do you, what
Madison: Oh, yes, I have my Oracle cards. Okay. So what I would say as a good start point, and then I'll tell you about the cards is go to Donna Eden's site or my site look up 'meridian tracing', 'tracing meridians', And also look at the daily energy routine. Every time you do something, take a moment to observe how you feel
Stacee: Yeah.
Madison: Tune in.
I think that did something that's in energy for you think. Well, that didn't do much. I don't like doing that Don't do it for a while.
There are days. If you get into energy medicine. Well, let's say, if you get into self care, it can be energy medicine. It can be healthy lifestyle choices.
It can be looking at your sleep, your diet, whatever. There is so much. And I know I saying to you, Stacee, you know.
we need 26 hours a day to do everything.
Stacee: I know.
Madison: So how are you going to decide? I've got five minutes. What am I going to do?
Stacee: Yes,
Madison: I can decide with my intellect. I can decide with my intuition, but if they packed up and gone on holiday, what am I going to do?
And I, I, would encourage you all to make up your own little Oracle cards. These are mine. Okay. I did go to Vista print and they had special
little ones printed. Okay. Cause I'm just like a little bit. Okay. Like
what? and on each one, there is one thing that benefits me. So every one of these cards is going to help me in some way.
Every one of them. I want to know what's the shortcut straight through everything. What's going to give me the best result in the time I've got now.
I set this intention. I seek the truth and what I do with that truth is entirely my own choice.
I seek the priority tool. I use the word.
And that covers everything I seek the priority tool for. And then you can, I'd say my wellbeing, my overall wellbeing, or my mood, or the pain in my ankle or whatever it. is, you can be specific or general for me right now at this moment in time, show me the priority.
And then I take one out, you say that thing, I need to pay attention to small intestine so I can.
Hmm. Okay. Now these, these are my cards. I know exactly what I do with my small intestine. Okay. But in there I have got wheat dairy sugar, so I know, oh, stop those today.
You know, or look at your diet or sleep or up your water. She can have those general lifestyle things. You know, if you sit and think of the things you know, that you can do for the good of your body, you will have well over a hundred cards
already. Then you delve into energy medicine and you'll add in there, you know, tapping the cheeks, typing care 27, all these things.
If you look at Donna's daily energy routine it will make sense. You put each of those on an individual card. What's the priority tool for me at this moment in time today for whatever.
And that is a bit of fun.
Stacee: is a fun
game,
Madison: because sometimes I know it's a bit childlike, but I think, well, I wonder what, what, my body needs today?
You know,
Stacee: but sometimes you don't want to think, you just want to just
Madison: I don't want to think, but you know, it's a way of getting your body to talk to you
because if I have got something seriously out of balance, that's the same thing in all those carbs, the same card will keep coming up. and it's my wise one within saying, look at this, look at this, look at this.
So you begin, it's quite exciting to see what card's going to
come up.
It's free. You just get little bits of paper. If you want, or index cards, you know, cheapest chips, make them up. People say to me, why don't I sell them? And I don't sell them because I believe in you creating them, puts energy into them.
They are far more powerful. If you've sat and you've written the word you've thought about it, you've handled it. It becomes yours. And these, my friends love them.
Stacee: yeah. Oh, that's so fun. I love that. I, I that's, that's fantastic. I'm definitely gonna do that because there are times I think I'm going to do something and I think, well, what do I want to do? Because if I don't have time to do it all, you
Madison: Yes.
Stacee: I run into that. Cause I have my sort standard daily stuff that I do.
But sort of some days you can't, you just can't
Madison: Exactly. And also some days you may have a specific problem.
Stacee: right.

Stacee: if you think it's silly, have you got to lose by trying these things?
Madison: Nothing to lose because absolutely everything in that box is good for me. I would put things in there if I don't like doing them or I don't feel the benefit. So everything in there is just, you want something the most efficient, the most effective, and it's such nuance of why is that the best thing sometimes you don't even think about it. Your body's told you what it needs
Stacee: Yeah.
Madison: cards.
Stacee: That's incredible. That's incredible. And I can't wait to build my own little box of Oracle cards. So fun. Thank you for sharing that.
One of the things you do that I think is very unique to you, first of all, and so incredible is that you teach people how to work on their animals and help their four legged friends, which is so wonderful because I have a dog who's quite old. She's 13, 14, she's a rescue.
So we're not exactly sure. you just feel so helpless sometimes when they're having their aches and pains and things like that, you just want to do something that will actually help them. And, and I think it sounds to me, I haven't gone through the course yet, but it sounds to me like what you teach is really powerful to help them in different ways.
Madison: Yes.
And it has evolved over the years. I've always had, you know, I, as up until about 10 years ago, I was a really keen horsewoman horses have been part of my life, dogs, cats. I'm a huge animal lover.
And when I started working with energy, I would practice on them.
Stacee: Oh God,
Madison: I would think, well, it works on them. Why wouldn't it work on you know?
And slowly over the years I have developed. Ways of working with cats, dogs, and horses, and they've all got slightly different needs, you know, they're herd animals, they're individuals and all this sort of thing. I have two books. One is for cats, which is very much off working off the body is cat owners
know like.

Stacee: Right, right.
Madison: ones, which, oh yeah, touch me, touch me for dogs. You know, Angie medicine for dogs. And, I'm just now in the process of writing. So it will be out next year, one for horses.
Okay. And
lots of blogs on my website that people can go. And there are a number of courses.
I'm doing a summer school for pet parents at the moment, which is we're meeting every other week for an hour and that will be available in the autumn as well. If you couldn't make it, there's loads of information there, but all of it I've kept very, very simple. Because, you know, people don't have the time to study, you know, what acupressure points do I hold and this
and that, you know, just want it to be very practical and very easy and work.
So, I think one of the most important things when you're a pet parent is you. Okay, because if something is wrong with you, animal companion, are they mirroring you? Are you bank of nerves, making their healing, slowing down their healing? You know, so we look at, I look at it from all aspects, but overall I want people to feel empowered because when you see, I get so many emails saying, you know, my little baby who shared my life for so many years is not, well, what can I work?
Can I do, what can I do? There is so much you can do to help the veterinary care, to keep them healthy. You know, there really is. And, you, one has to remember as a pet parent, anything you do is powered by love and That's the most healing energy of the universe, so to speak. So, know, there's there's ways and it's just showing people, Hey, you can do
this.
Stacee: to use their hands and
Madison: Yeah.
Stacee: to do certain things on the animals. It's and it's not painful for the animals or
Madison: No, and you can work off the field on there. you can work off the body
as well. so I always say to people first off, get yourself balanced because by osmosis you're supporting them. And then with dogs, for example, there's a spinal flush, which they love mine, love it down the spine, which affects the entire body.
Do that on your dog every day. And it really gets their immunity strong and everything. there's certain things you can do if you have rescue animals that don't want to be touched and you're bringing them home, working in the energy field, because with animals, they feel it far more than humans do. You don't need to work as long on animals.
There's no defenses on animals, you know, as we have those, none of that with animals it's quite quickly and they feel the energy and they know. You know,
so it's an absolute joy working working with animals in that
way.

Stacee: And you have a course for that and you have books.
Madison: yes, I have, I have So,
much to lose. I've got

The blogs I've, I'm doing a retreat. I've had to put it back until next summer on the Isle of Wight, a residential
retreat,
Stacee: on your website.
Madison: which I've lapped I've done for many years. I've had to take a couple of years off because of COVID, but I'm, my friend has this amazing farm on the Isle of Wight, right in the middle of nowhere.
And she's got llamas and alpacas and pigs and horses and dogs and everything. You can imagine that. And I don't, it's not a big course, maybe 10 people I accept or 12, and we just, we just work on the animals and it's in the most beautiful surroundings, you know, set. I've got that. I've got an online course with, with Donna's company for pets sake, school, which will, will be available soon as
replay. so lots going on.

Stacee: Madison's Modules, right? Which are like, sort of mini courses, right on
Madison: yes.
Stacee: Yeah.
Madison: Yes. Oh yes.

Madison: I just thought technology had progressed to such a stage where I thought this makes it accessible and affordable to everyone. So yes, there are modules there for grief and lung health for, sleep for all sorts of things.
and I'm building all the time on the modules. And what I tend to do is I will do, a talk, which people can join
can be one, two or three hours. I have a replay. I all, I love I'm a writer, so I love doing big handouts.
Stacee: huh.
Madison: So, if you went in there now For the sleep one, you'd get a handout with the replay link embedded there, and you can watch it in your own time, you know, and this is why one of the benefits, yes, nothing beats being in person, but this means everyone can do it in their own time.

Stacee: Yeah. Oh yeah. No, I think that's so important that just that, that changes everything. Doesn't it, it just changes the game entirely. So

Stacee: Oh, right. Oh, good. Okay. And I'm going to link to all of these things in the show notes, and yeah, Fit Face. Just, I can speak to that myself. I did. I went through that one last year. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, I couldn't join you guys live, but I did get the replay and I think it was three, three hour
classes, right? Yeah. Nine hours total. And you and Kim are just so fun and so knowledgeable, like there, like you said, there's so much there, but it is so nice to know that there's things that you can do to your face
that feel good and that are make help. You just keep you looking younger and all of that, that doesn't include surgery and
Madison: Exactly.
Stacee: shooting weird things into your skin and, and all of that, which, you know, if that's what somebody wants to do, that's fine.
But a lot of us don't want to do that, but we still would like to look youthful.
Madison: Yes, it's making the most of what you've got, you
know, and we sort of work from here upwards and you can be affecting the entire body through these
points and it's getting that, it's making the most, nothing, nothing is going to stop the wrinkles. Okay. but you can slow it down and you can bring out a radiance and a quality to your skin.
And you know, when you have, that is the old fashioned word of glamour. Really? You cast a glamour. People don't notice the wrinkles so
much, you know, there is that radiance coming through and you
Stacee: Absolutely.
Madison: skin to be the best condition it possibly can.
Stacee: Absolutely. I agree. A hundred percent. It's pretty incredible. have I forgotten anything? Is there anything final words that you want to impart? We've talked about so many things,
Madison: no. And do you know, it's just the tip of the iceberg, really? So,
you know, what I would say is you're probably feeling a bit overwhelmed, cause it's all sort of woo all this stuff going on, but I would encourage you to, to feel truly empowered, in your own self-care whether it is, fit face, whether you have a health issue.
Now do look at, doing a daily energy routine. You can follow Donna Eden's as a, as a base, as a start point, you can do the meridians, start paying attention to your energies and your life will change.
It really did for me all those years ago, it has for you Stacee, suddenly you know there is
something you can do to either help you heal or to prevent you getting sick in the first place you know, and, and life is just better, you know, you're healthier, you're happier and it's in your own
hands and it's all natural!
Stacee: A hundred percent. Yes. I could not agree with you more.
That is absolutely right. And get get your jug. I've got to get my jug.

Madison: Oracle
Stacee: I'm going, I'm going to do that too. I'm going to get it together because like I said, I'm just kind of waiting in the shallow end and I want to just keep adding some things as I go through, this is something I'll do for the rest of my life, you know?
And so I want to
Madison: Yes.
Stacee: things and, and that's the fun of it really. Right. You can't get bored with it.
Madison: No, you know, and I, I'm still learning. I'm still learning it, my advanced stage. And I love it, you know, and nobody's changed. So you need different things.
but you're doing it? the right. way. You're thinking it's for life.
I'm going to ha and as we age, you know, yeah, that awful a word, our body needs more of a helping hand.
There's no reason why we shouldn't have fantastic old ages, but our bodies do need a little bit of nurturing, cherishing and care. And what you're doing is a wise way of doing it. You're just adding in little bits
and there is something about it. When you start working with the energy that what you need to add in will suddenly finds its way to You
Stacee: Hmm,
